From March 16 to 17, 2023, the 37th Shandong Animal Husbandry Expo was held at the Jinan International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of “Collaboration, Development, Intelligence, and Environmental Protection”, this expo covers an area of 15,000 square meters and has a brand pavilion, smart breeding exhibition area, improved livestock and poultry exhibition area, machinery and equipment pavilion, animal health feed pavilion, high-quality livestock products exhibition area, etc. There are more than 300 exhibiting companies in multiple exhibition areas, and more than a thousand new and popular products are on display, highlighting the new achievements, new patterns, and new looks of the development of Shandong’s animal husbandry and veterinary industry, and comprehensively supporting the high-quality development of Shandong’s modern animal husbandry industry.
At 10 a.m. on March 16, the opening ceremony of the 37th Shandong Animal Husbandry Expo was held at the Jinan High-tech International Convention and Exhibition Center. Yu Yongde, director of the Shandong Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. On the first day of the opening, the crowd at the exhibition was enthusiastic. At 10 o’clock in the morning, even though it had been held for nearly 2 hours, the square was still full of spectators preparing to enter. Everyone lined up in an orderly manner, allowing us to see the “most beautiful scenery” of the Animal Husbandry Fair.
It is understood that in 2022, Shandong’s meat, egg and milk production will reach 15.81 million tons, ranking first in the country. The total output value of the animal husbandry industry is 300.35 billion yuan, a record high. The development of the animal husbandry industry shows a good trend of strong vitality, great potential and sufficient stamina. As an external display platform and publicity window for our province’s animal husbandry industry, the Shandong Animal Husbandry Expo has been held for 36 consecutive sessions. It is a continuously held provincial exhibition. It has become a well-known exhibition brand in the country and has been highly praised and recognized by the government and all walks of life.
Livestock raw material manufacturers, dealers, agents, large farmers, animal health, machinery, feed and other industry practitioners from all over the country gathered from all directions to watch the exhibition. The scene was crowded and lively!
It is worth noting that the “Warm Spring March·Purchasing Festival” event has been specially set up at this expo, focusing on displaying more than 10 major categories of products such as animal health, veterinary drugs, vaccines, feeds, breeding equipment, livestock and poultry products, and building a platform for enterprises. A communication platform for product promotion and technical exchanges, it actively promotes the production and sales docking between exhibitors and purchasers, and assists the supply and demand matching and docking between enterprises.
This exhibition will be held for two consecutive days.
